It dipped into the upper and mid 30's the last two nights.

I've started my "traditional" winter beard.

Fuck Michigan, Stanford, ASU, USC and all all dem udder ne'er-do-wells!

ASU fans/alums are pussycats. U of A and USC fans are the only ones they get snarly towards. A good chunk of the students will be blacked out by kickoff and ready to get rowdy, but they will all be gone before the second half starts.

Hope it's a night game for this reason. If you give the ASU student section all day to tailgate, they will be out by game time or they'll have to leave early to get to Mill St before the lines get too long at the clubs.

The other thing to remember, probably 10,000 of the 60,000 students are from Chicagoland so they probably grew up Irish fans.

Phoenix metro is not a tough place to be an Irish, Bears, Hawks or Cubs/Sox fan. If you sent everyone born in Chicagoland or Mexico back home, it would be back to a stage coach stop.

I would almost guarantee its a night game, almost all their games are, minus one or two towards the end of the season when the temperature drops. The fact they're playing "dress up" for this game confirms it will be a night game IMO.

*And anyone looking for tickets, they will be much cheaper than anticipated the week of the game. Georgia traveled in droves for their game a few years ago, it was sold out, and tickets were still being had at less than $20 an hour before kickoff.

Me and my three buddies are going out for the game. I'll be the guy in my Leprechaun outfit...hopefully they won't beat me up.

So you're saying just scalp some prior to game? I've been debating whether to buy one before I fly out out or not.

Arizona is a scalp happy state. I've always bought in the parking lot, even for the first black-out game against Mizzou two years ago.

You wanna see how many tickets are available, check Phoenix Craigslist and watch the market.

Temps won't be an issue even if it's a day game. Average high will probably be in the 70's by week 2 of Nov.

I'll agree with you though, ABC will most likely make it a night game. If Fox gets it, it will most definitely be.

ND alum here. I'm currently a grad student at ASU. I'm hoping to get a free ticket, since grad students get free tickets to any sporting event. I'll have to wait in line though.

Sucks because I don't have time to camp out in front of the ticket office like some of these other "students."

Absolutely. The ONLY time I ever saw anything that resembled a sellers market out there was when the Blackhawks played the Coyotes in the playoffs. Those tickets were tough. I went to the NFC Championship for $75 when the Cards made the SB.

Dang these tickets are more expensive than originally anticipated. Anyone know of a place to score cheaper tickets than Stubhub? The ASU website isn't selling ND tickets as a single game, you have to buy a "mini pack."

TicketMaster randomly has cheaper tix than Stubhub a majority of the time. I'd try there.

Anyone know of a game watch on Oahu for this game? I'm asking for a friend that will be there with family. Thanks for any help.
