Just confirmed my two seats with a bunch of ASU alumn. That should be an interesting place to be
ASU fans/alums are pussycats. U of A and USC fans are the only ones they get snarly towards. A good chunk of the students will be blacked out by kickoff and ready to get rowdy, but they will all be gone before the second half starts.
Hope it's a night game for this reason. If you give the ASU student section all day to tailgate, they will be out by game time or they'll have to leave early to get to Mill St before the lines get too long at the clubs.
The other thing to remember, probably 10,000 of the 60,000 students are from Chicagoland so they probably grew up Irish fans.
Phoenix metro is not a tough place to be an Irish, Bears, Hawks or Cubs/Sox fan. If you sent everyone born in Chicagoland or Mexico back home, it would be back to a stage coach stop.
.
I would almost guarantee its a night game, almost all their games are, minus one or two towards the end of the season when the temperature drops. The fact they're playing "dress up" for this game confirms it will be a night game IMO.
*And anyone looking for tickets, they will be much cheaper than anticipated the week of the game. Georgia traveled in droves for their game a few years ago, it was sold out, and tickets were still being had at less than $20 an hour before kickoff.
So you're saying just scalp some prior to game? I've been debating whether to buy one before I fly out out or not.

I will be camping at point mugu in Malibu this weekend. Are there any nd friendly bars around there? Maybe in Oxnard, Camarillo, or Ventura? Thanks in advance.
Going just bought my tickets, it's not often ND is in the south west other than at usc
where did you get your tickets? what section....?
Dang these tickets are more expensive than originally anticipated. Anyone know of a place to score cheaper tickets than Stubhub? The ASU website isn't selling ND tickets as a single game, you have to buy a "mini pack."
I use to live in Thousand oaks right around the corner from Malibu. Drive up the PCH to Santa Barbra, alot of pretty girls there...
