Both. He was to be home schooled but his mother required constant care, which he provided.

I also asked Cornwell if his plan was to be home-schooled before his mother became ill. He indicated that was the case, but once she became ill, he was unable to think about school or athletics, as he was caring for her. Duval County (Fla.) allows students to participate in high school athletics for a school of their choosing. In Cornwell's case, the school was to be Ponte Vedra High School.

Thanks. The Bud Elliott article is clearer. Elliott also covered the age issue which I hadn't seen mentioned. I'm familiar with 19 as a cutoff in some other states.

Word is Bama is going to offer Cornwell and he will commit by the end of the weekend. Nothing on record yet but the whispers in T Town are picking up. We shall see I guess.

Cornwell is a very good prospect but I'm happy with Kizer and think for now we only need 1 QB this class. I want that scholarship to go to a Dlineman.

Only reason I am holding off saying it is done is some of those same whispers are saying there was a split in the staff between taking Cornwell or Park. Some wanted Park because he is a little more mobile. But it appears Park has warmed to UGA and that leads me to believe the Cornwell camp on the Bama staff won out.

aha so Urbie can promise him that he will be the next Alex Smith?? Because he hasn't developed a QB since him. Other coaches are wise to that now and are negatively recruiting against OSU using that tactic. Sure how many years has Braxton Miller been in Columbus, guarantee he will head to the NFL too with a totally unimproved throwing motion.
