Yeah Detroit needs to find a kicker. Maybe Jason Hansen will come out of retirement and finish up the season for them.

Do you hang out in Buffalo a lot? I'll be heading there in a couple of weeks when CMU plays UB. Any bars you suggest near campus/stadium?

I actually see Jim Arnold out and about some in Nashville. My brother and a couple other friends are friends with him. Should I see if he's interested?

Guess I forgot the italics. The guy is 45 years old for gods sake and he could probably kick better than the two kickers the Lions have had this year.

I wasn't seriously going to not only seek Jim Arnold out, but then also ask him if he might be interested in kicking for the Lions.

10 catches, 154 yards and a TD in a win over the Saints. Had an awesome 70+ yard TD to spark the Lions in the 4th.

His long TD was amazing. He just blew by at least 4 New Orleans defenders when they were far out in front of him.

The ND duo, him and Riddick are killing it for detroit as their leading receivers with Calvin Johnson out.

Also don't look now, but for at least the next 20 min Golden Tate is leading the NFL in receiving yards. Makes me wish he was in an offense like this since he got drafted.

I heard that the week before the Super Bowl he got into a big fight with P Harvin. If true, I imagine that played a factor.

The factor was, Golden was going to have to be paid.

The Seahawks couldn't resign golden, keep Percy, and pay Wilson next year.

They had to free salary.

Good article by Golden about not believing everything you read on the Interwebs.

He expressly denies having an affair with Russell Wilson's wife, which you would almost certainly not deny if you just wanted the rumor to go away, since he's basically begging to get called out on it if he's lying.

Seems like he did at ND: smart, decent, well-educated, comfortable. Nice job!

If ND would have had any kind of legit defense during his final year, ND prob wins ten plus games and Golden would have won the Heisman, he was the best player in cfb that year.

Oh I agree with you my dude. That was just an awful, awful defense, but 3-9, 7-6, and 6-6 is just plain bad. It kind of makes me appreciate what Kelly has been able to do here that much more considering all of the off the field issues he has faced to boot. Tate just made those few years bearable is all I'm saying.
