Mostly stuff we know already. The coolest part of the visit was going out with the team and the game. Atmosphere was crazy. Still on his list is ASU, Oregon, Baylor, UCLA, and Texas A&M. At the end Greg Powers asks him if he had a favorite and if that favorite was ND and Soso replied "Yeah you could say that." "Yeah yeah definitely."

Thanks buddy! Good to finally hear him say that ND is in fact the leader

With a list that is still that long it doesn't feel like he's ready to commit just yet.

He only has 1 other scheduled OV and that is to UCLA on the 11th. Its thought that he may take a visit to A&M but there hasn't been much talk about visits to those other schools so I don't consider them realistic options right now. I would expect that we'll know a lot more about this after that UCLA visit. We'll either be recruiting more RB's starting in the end of October or Soso will be committed. One plus here is that if and when he decides to shut it down for ND, his support system is behind him on this.

Great to hear. Alot of times so many people try and push a kid in another direction after making a decision. It will be nice to know that if he picks the Irish it should be solid.

ISD is also pretty much reporting same thing. his father said ND leads. And asked about his buddies going to A&M. He said Soso will make his own decision and it won't matter

Carve your own path Soso! Glad to hear the father/son are on the same page.

This is from A&M's 247 site

Plano West running back Soso Jamabo had another big game last Friday night, garnering 185 yards and three touchdowns even though he played just over a half. For the season, he’s averaging a ridiculous 12.1 yards per carry including a 489 yard game against Sachse and has a touchdown once every five carries.
We talked to Jamabo after the game and while interest in him had died down during the spring it’s picked back up again with his performance so far.

“I’m going to UCLA October 11 and that would be it” he said. “I don’t know that I’ll have future ones but for now that would be it”.
Jamabo noted that Texas A&M has reenagaged him since the start of the season.
“A little bit” he said. “They didn’t talk to me for a little bit but they’re back on now. I’m talking to them a little bit as well as Arizona State, Baylor, Oregon, so I’m getting on track with some other schools now. I hadn’t had too many conversations with them (until A&M came and saw him play against Sachse)
Jamabo stated that if he would be taking any unofficial visits that it would be to in state schools like A&M and Baylor and that would be it. However, he doesn’t have anything specific planned. When asked who was recruiting him the hardest he said that UCLA and Notre Dame were recruiting him extremely hard right now.

There were multiple people at the game Friday night including a college coach who had a variety of opinions as to where Jamabo would wind up. One person thought that UCLA and Notre Dame led for him and that would be consistent with his statements as to how hard they are recruiting him. However, another who’s more plugged in at the local level said that Jamabo is very close to A&M basketball commits D.J. Hogg and Tyler West (both from Plano) as well as Allen quarterback Kyler Murray and he saw him eventually winding up at A&M. One thing in A&M’s favor is that he is not going to make a decision until after the season which gives the A&M staff lots of time to continue to work on him.

The staff has been putting in the work...still much more to do.

My takeaway was that they admit Soso has been stating it's UCLA/ND at the top. However, they've talked to people "plugged" into local recruiting that say he's going to follow his friends to A&M.

Of course a local Texas people, probably A&M fans, think he stays put so let's just ignore what the kids is saying. Funny stuff.

A&M can send some of those kids our way. There offense recruiting has been unmatched by anyone in the country

TAMU plays #14, 10, and 3 in the next 4 weeks. Hopefully they get exposed. 14 and 3 are on the road. They look pretty tough thus far, so we'll see.

UCLA IMO will easily get exposed, probably twice in the next 3 weeks, at ASU this week, and Oregon in 3 weeks.

Hopefully we don't get exposed in 2 weeks...

If Arkansas can keep it close or take a lead I think they can run it a ton, possess the hell out of the ball and upset TAMU.... I'm calling the upset now!

Would love to see it, but don't think it will happen in Texas.

Don't these people know that these "go to school with friends" scenarios rarely come to fruition? Besides if his friends are B-Ball players he's likely to see even less of them unless A&M allows him to play round ball.

It was a joke.

There is a rapper called Chief Keef/Sosa that a lot of the recruits joke around with SoSo about. "Bangbang" is a term in one of the songs lol.

Chill guys.
