Reminds me of Bridgewater personally. Hard to tell how good he is at running because his highlight tape doesn't show it that much (which is a good thing IMO). Please let us get this guy.

I haven't watched enough of Bridgewater. When Golson showed up, people liked to say the ball "exploded" out of his hands. It looks the same, possibly just a bit less, with Henry.

Either way, he'd be such an amazing pickup to start the 16 class. He'd also pave the way for our two top OL targets and hopefully a slew of skill position players.

I've made my prediction for Malik Henry's Crystal Ball, picking him to land at Notre Dame. The nation's No. 1 quarterback according to the 247Sports Composite has named Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida State and UCLA as his four favorites but 247Sports has been reporting that Florida State and Notre Dame remain the two most likely to land the signal-caller.

While he has already visited all of his four leaders, Henry has another unofficial visit scheduled this weekend for its game against Michigan. In a recruiting game where visits speak volumes, that is enough for me to give Notre Dame the edge

I wouldn't neg rep you, but I think Henry has more offers and visits under his belt already than Blake did at this point. He may have actually visited more schools already than Blake did in total.

Nothing is a given, and there are similarities, but I'm hoping Henry will have answered more of the necessary questions before pulling the trigger.

I get what you're saying, but Blake was pretty under the radar when he committed to ND. Once he started camping and went up the ranks, he decided to open up his recruitment. Malik is already highly rated and has taken a handful of visits already.

California + QB + "Similar" talent + skillset + Committing basically 2 seasons before they will join the team is similar enough to make me worry. Particularly the California aspect.

California + QB + "Similar" talent + skillset + Committing basically 2 seasons before they will join the team is similar enough to make me worry. Particularly the California aspect.

While I understand those similarities, those are tiny factors or almost coincidences in my mind in comparison to what others stated. He can go wherever he wants, right now/today

This feels like a commitment is imminent, IMO. When one 247 guy hears something it will make it's way around over the course of a day or two and the CB's start rolling in. Considering it started with Wiltfong I tend to place some credence to it. The one CB that seems to be a tell that a commitment is imminent is JC then Shannon as they have no clue what's going on and only make picks, especially this early, when they've been told this is what's happening.
