Guessing we'll move up 2 spots and be #15 now? Jumping Clemson and Wisky and South Carolina. A&M should jump past us.

Good to see OSU still kickin it in the top ten after losing their best player and basically playing Navy at a draw for 50+ minutes.

We've been is the same boat before with Navy. We have a schedule that will take care of our ranking if we win...just win baby!

South Carolina has no business being in the Top 25. They were way overrated to begin the season given what they lost to the NFL. If you lose that much you should have to prove yourself (like A&M did). Not so sure A&M didn't benefit from waxing an overrated team though.

OSU should have dropped behind Georgia, Baylor and Stanford at the least.

First couple of weeks should be way more fluid for these polls. We really don't know what anyone has and setting so much in stone so early is ridiculous.

I agree...Georgia looked scary good. Stanford looked good as well. OSU's schedule is a joke.

Yeah, and in the logic of the polls OSU will only drop if they lose from this point out and likely move up as those ahead of them lose games. Leap frog action gets less likely as the season progresses.

I do have a gripe about that. I'm on BP from time to time and they do like to throw out the service academy scheduling BS, despite the fact we rarely play any of them aside from Navy...and Navy has played tOSU fairly close in their last few meetings. In many respects they're tougher than a MAC team anyway.

Don't buy the hype on Georgia. They'll be exposed by the end of the season. That defense is going to be suspect and they're hiding a weak QB. Yeah they boat raced Clemson but I suspect Clemson was a touch overrated to begin with. Todd Gurley is a beast though, I will give them that.

Agree on Ga. Their secondary is questionable. Clemson had no threat wide or long and once Ga got ahead, Pruitt pinned his ears back on defnesive play calling. At some point, their QB is gonna have to make the plays necessary to win games as Gurley is gonna see a lot of 7 man fronts to have to run against. Plus... Richt is known to blow a game here or there with his coaching ability.

I don't see why UNC moved up. The Heels had a smaller margin of victory against an FCS nobody (Liberty) than ND did versus Rice. If Liberty can put up 24 points on the Tar Heels D, imagine what the Irish can do to them.

As a student at North Dakota State.... That's fun to see. But absolutely silly to suggest we have the 24th best team in America. Irish should be top 15. Just keep winning. Really tough schedule should make this season fun.

I actually like it only because it creates a wave of "lol NOPE, OSU blows" around the country when people see it. Similar to how embarrassing it was for Michigan to have to trot back out there and run one more play.
