I'm maxed out on upgrades on TH6 awaiting my TH7 to complete in 5 Days, 6 Hours.

My eleixir is slowly building and I am at 1,349,456 out of 2,001,000, leaving me with just 651,544 of storage. I figured that at 2500 elixir per hour, in 5 days 6 hours, I would make 1,890,000 elixir (6 elxir pumps), leaving me with 1,238,456 short in container storage. My total pump capcity storage is 600,000 elxir (I think), so in entirity my village is short 638,456 elixir storage.

In an effort to avoid romp fest elixir raids and overall, to protecct my gold, i was thinking about dumping about 500,000 in elixir by creating spells and then cancelling them and only receiving back half of the elixir i originally put in. Any thoughts? or should I just accept the beast mode raids.

My town hall is currently set up outside and may leave it there to lure the trophy farmers and try to keep my shield up and running for the next 5 days. I prob wont attack, either so I can keep my resources low...

I'm sure you guys will check my math, too, haha.

OK, so I looked up the math on resource raids. 50% of mines/collectors is available and the amount of storage available is:

Silver is the easiest but takes longer to search for honey pots. You get Tax Tapped less than Gold. By Tax Tapped, I mean someone who full out rapes you for your stuff. TH out, most people leave you alone in Silver.

Seems like lower levels get crappy ROI, driven by the TH multiplier. Game gets pretty damn boring if I spend fifteen minutes looking for a decent attack.

At TH 8, anyone TH 6 or lower is pretty well worthless to me. If I go up to TH 9, then TH 7 is taken off the table. Silver levels seem loaded with TH6 and 7. I also subject myself to TH10 raiding me since I would be 90% instead of 50%. Looks like I will be camping out in TH8 land for a while and will just have to deal with idle builders.

I've heard TH 8 is the best for looting because of the reasons you've listed above. If you jump to 9, you'll have more TH10s breathing down your neck. From 8 you can raid 7's, 9's, and other 8's and rake in the loot.

If my trophy count lingers in the mid-1000s at TH7, will I still be attacked by high level 8s and 9s? Or does trophy count matter?

No Gibbs it usually only offers the gem option during a 24 hr window of time.
