Harris showed up to The Opening wearing Michigan gear and he's coming to the BBQ. I don't know what that means if it means anything at all but hey I'll take it.

Tidbit I heard on Harris a few weeks ago...he had said a long while back that ND wasn't recruiting hard and hadn't made contact with him and that was why he wasn't considering ND. Well, that total BS. The ND coaches had been trying to recruit him, calling him and trying to get in contact with him quite often, but he just wouldn't return their calls or show ANY interest in return. In this case at least, ND definitely wanted in but Harris just wasn't interested in ND.

Another example of how you shouldn't always believe what a recruit says.

Easy way to say you're not into ND...blame it on the coaches. Let's say he doesn't take academics seriously - well, it looks better for you if you say they aren't recruiting you hard than saying that you just don't like school that much.

Ironically, on the day I post info that I've had for weeks lol, Christian from ISD just reported that Harris says that he is in contact with ND almost daily and wants to set a summer visit. Of course, he was supposed to come to II and that never happened, so until he makes it on campus I'm dubious.

I don't think Harris feels the same pressure Elam did to stay at home. Nor do I think Harris has the inner relationships built with UK players like Elam. Barker played such a pivotal role in last year's recruiting class and that probably went a long way in Elam's decision. End of the day, I think Harris ends up at OSU, with Bama having a slight edge over UK to sneak in late.

Side Note: Still think Bama and the Irish dodged a bullet with Elam.
