Allow me to clarify my clarification.

Iman to ND is a pipe dream IMHO.

No he isn't and no its not!

I don't know if you have gotten it by now, but my 12 year old daughter is teaching me how to win an internet fight!

One of these things is not like the others.

Also, it's "The schools to which..."

Do not want.

Seriously I wish this kid would stop getting my hopes up. I honestly don't remember Juju giving so much ND love though.

Also stated that he was interested in what ND can offer after football.

He seems like an awesome kid who I can say will probably love his Notre Dame visit. But it's hard to get someone who has only visited campus once to someone who is at USC's practice once a week.

Incorrect...he doesn't according to an insider article I read which is why they noted it was a big positive for usc that he came to their scrimmage the other day...they stated for him living so close he chooses not to visit like a lot of local talents often do

Kid is legitimately interested. ND is more then just a hat on the table for him.

Let's see what 7-win-Sark can do before we write this kid off completely. Could be Kiffin 2.0

At least Sark has a somewhat decent track record as a head coach. He took over UW from the worst coach in the program's history, who had taken the program to historically pathetic lows. And Sark got them back to respectability, at least. kiffie didn't and still doesn't have anything on his resume closely resembling what Sark has done.

I'm not sure Sark will have sc in the Natty hunt every year, but I'll be extremely surprised if his tenure at sc resembles kiffie's.

I was really impressed with his first two seasons at UW. His last three were pretty disappointing IMO. Just think by Year 5, you should be better than 8-4. Especially at a place like UW with great facilities and tradition.

Although USC sells itself to recruits, so even an average coach should have them winning 9-10 games a year. I just see them as an 8-4 team this season, maybe even 7-5. Think ND, UCLA, Stanford are all better and then they go 4-1 or 3-2 against ASU, Arizona, Oregon State, Utah, Washington State.

I think Juju was far more interested in ND. I remember ND leading Juju's crystall ball for a while, that's impossible to think with Iman Marshall.

according to an insider article on espn....we weren't mentioned NOT by him but by the writers of the article... these are who they perceive will get official visits...ucla, stanford, osu, michigan, usc standing out...they said it was big that he was at the usc scrimmage the other day although the pipeline is there, it's just that he doesn't just visit for the hell of it like a lot of other sc football players in area

Thats poor journalism then. Marshall has had a ND Official setup since the Rivals 5 Star Challenge haha. ND was the only school he had stated he would take an official to before yesterday.

A Cali kid setting up an official for our biggest home game is SOP, imo. Doesn't mean his interest is or isn't legit.

Yeah, you're right about him by year 5.

But I think any coach out there would be destined to lose 3-5 games in his first year or two at sc. I think that's just the reality of the sanctions. My biggest worry is he does well enough the first 2 seasons, still able to reel in big fish recruits, then has them back as a perennial power.

I will say I do see some Jim Cooper (or others) potential in Sark-- good enough to win 10+ games every year, but not good enough to beat the top teams on their schedule each year. At this point, this is my hope for Sark at sc.

I see the potential for him to demonstrate overall buffoonery like kiffin only as an extremely small percentage.

This recruitment has overtones of past recruitments. Call me crazy, but he reminds me of JuJu Smith. I'm going out on a limb and stating that USC is the strong favorite here.

There's a 0% chance he signs with Notre Dame, so yeah ... I'm taking the over and including myself in that total.
