Scout updated some of their rankings - Taylor went from DT #22 to #17 there. Enough for the star bump in the composite it seems.

Thought this was an interesting tidbit about Taylor. Not only projected by Kelly to be first off the bench, but also considered one of the strongest on the team.

“We think there’s a couple young guys that may be able to give us some things there,” Kelly said. “Elijah Taylor’s extremely strong. Can hold the point. May not be as dynamic yet but is a guy you can’t move. He’s one of the stronger players on our football team.”

Correct (as far as I know). However, I coincidentally listened to the latest ISD podcast today, and they said it appears to be a serious injury.

Really nice kid. Saw his frustration at not getting any PT under Coach Van Gorder. Always thought he played hard and could give solid minutes, felt like he deserved more snaps, sooner than he started to see them.
