I would imagine Waller will take the Oregon offer if Oregon doesnt land the number #1 on their ever changing board. I suspect this will happen with-in the next week.

If Waller doesnt jump on the Oregon offer, I think Ohio St is next in line for his services even without an offer/Burrow committed to osu.

I don't think he fits and I don't think we'll take a QB just to take a QB. Still time to make that decision, however, and still a few quality QBs who would fit who remain available to varying degrees.

The shine of the rings, the lure of Saban was awfully tempting, but I wondered if eventually he would realize that Oregon was a better fit and he would have a coach that could run an offense tailored to Blake's skills and he would end up at Oregon after all. If Waller goes there, wonder if Blake will be "forced" to stay at Bama,?

They are just trying to get Stidham on campus. Other then that they will start recruiting 2 QB's to take in 16 class. IMO

Per TJ about our chances with Waller.

I wouldn't bet anything on his selection next week being ND. That said, I also wouldn't bet the house that that selection automatically will be the final one, the school which receives his LOI in February. Just a hunch that this one might play out through the cycle and, ultimately, may depend on circumstances and events which may occur this fall. Just not sure.

Either way, I think the staff feels content moving along in this general (possible) direction as well if that's how things go. '15 recruiting isn't done, and '16 recruiting is promising. A broken record here, but...it's okay to let things play out.

I don't think any of the schools would take his commitment but Northwestern and Oregon if Stidham doesn't flip to them. This isn't Chris Clark level bad, but he's handling his recruitment horribly IMO.

Agreed, it's like he's trying to make himself a big deal by handling it this way. More pub, attention, articles, suspense, etc. I think he feels snubbed and instead of taking a step back and looking for best fit he's playing into.

If he was smart, this is the kind of kid a NSD announcement works for. He's antsy because he lacked any committable offers for such a long time that he accelerated his schedule as a way of putting teams' feet to the fire a little and it worked with Oregon somewhat... but the smart thing for him would be to take his time, take his OVs, and pick his best landing spot on NSD.

Waller will commit to Oregon. I give a good shot that Waller and Stidham are both committed to Oregon at some point, and wouldnt be surprised if they both went to Oregon.

I also wouldnt be surprised to see blow about at the Elite 11 and earn an OSU offer. OSU is the offer he has craved and not got from what I have been told.
