I remember when we used to get giddy when Sapp would go MIA for a while - almost always meant good news was imminent. This guy tho? I just assume he got lost on his way home.

Don't get me wrong fellas, Jaylon is a tremendous football player and an even better human being, but there's no way to say there's an "advantage" in who he hangs out with on his visits lol.

It's not like McMillan is some slouch either. 5 LB and was a leader of his recruiting class just like Jaylon

Exactly. Raekwon, though I'm sure a very well spoken guy similar to Jaylon, has just arrived at OSU, whereas Jaylon has experienced ND already and can give more of a full-depth explanation of what it is like.

Sounds that way. I get a kick out of the Osu boards. The more I read into the Hilliard decision the more it becomes apparent that the only thing Osu fans hang their hats on are Hilliard wanting to hang with "Kwon" and a few others. It sounds like he has contacts all over and potential friends at both schools. Other than a bunch of homer crystal balls, I don't understand why Osu is so much more optimistic than ND for landing Hilliard. If anything, the update with Crawford's quotes makes it clear that Hilliard understands he's a perfect fit at ND.

I really do not think anyone knows where he's going at this point and it's a true "coin-flip".

Why would he need to "convince" that group to join him in Columbus? Seems the convincing would be getting them to South Bend, no matter how unlikely a guy like Clark would be.

All I know is the coaches put out all the stops, and if he doesn't come here then we can't be mad at the effort put forth. Sure hope we win this one though.

This is important to remember. The staff pulled out all the stops and Hilliard gave us a very strong look so win or lose good effort by the staff

Absolutely! When Kelly wants a kid to play for him he goes after in a big way. From what I have noticed he wins his fair share too.
