I wish I could share in your optimism on the matter, but if you don't think OSU leads then either A) ignorance is bliss or B) you know something you're not sharing. I hope for ND's sake, it's B.

Look at his track record of visiting different schools. He definitely gets into the hype from the school by visiting a school twice in a short amount of time. Example, he made a second trip to ND pretty quickly after his first visit. He visited Michigan a shortly after his visit. OSU has made up a ton of ground, I am not denying that. But, instead of making an impulse decision he makes a second visit. The fact that his family is so supportive and gets him to these visits shows that they are all on the same page. It would be easy for a parent to tell a kid that they dont have enough time or money to take as many visits as he has taken. But they are still make these trips. There are many kids that will have a school leading, then visit a different school and leave that visit a commit bc they fall for the hype. I see Justin making an educated decision and not one based off of impulse feelings. That is all that I am saying. The second osu visit if it happens isnt out of the norm for the kid.

ND knows where they stands and they are out visiting their top kids right now. I mean yesterday they had 2 coaches visiting Barnett and 2 visiting Hilliards school. So they had 4 coaches visiting 2 prospects yesterday. That speaks volumes bc they are out and about and not letting things happen.

To be clear, it's actually the 4,524th visit to OSU for Hilliard.

Before everyone goes crazy, this post is like two weeks old. More recently, Justin and his friends have eliminated the University of Phoenix, because, "they suck."

No mention of leaders. Once again a misleading comment. He won't be able to make it to II because he wants his mother to have a lot of time on campus to ask questions and feel comfortable. He will be coming back sometime this summer. Will visit all 5 schools again prior to decision.

Since EA Sports is dropping college football as a video game, the University of Phoenix online has to drop football off their program. A shame.

I like a lot. We do well with mommies.

FWIW, the two schools in common (if you believe Clark's current list) are UM and OSU.

I think we lead for ND and Hilliard thought he was going here, but seems like Hilliard found something he really likes with OSU recently.

Hilliard has seemed to like the social scenes that UM and OSU have that ND may not. Hopefully he finds what ND has to offer as too much to pass up.

I don't really know what could be so eye-opening social wise in Columbus or Ann Arbor. They're not really all that better than South Bend.

At work once a girl showed me a picture of four girls sitting in line in a home hallway. I asked what I was actually looking at, and she responded "this is a line of girls waiting to blow Pryor." Maybe that happens at ND, but I'd doubt it.

Even as a mere mortal (read: non-football player), I can confirm that OSU knows how to party.

Oh Sean. I've had no problems with your positive (and sometimes blatantly homerific) attitude in regards to ND recruiting, but this post is too much lol.

NDSean, I can't always have your back if you're going to say things like this!

You must be a bot or something. Real live people don't think this way.

This is actually a complicated topic. When I was a teenager some biker dude I worked with at a wind farm told me "kid, shits the same everywhere you go". Based on my experience he was right. There might not be a lot of hot chicks at ND but I'm pretty sure that means the same applies to the dudes. Now, does that mean if you're a good looking dude then you standout even more and your chances increase whereas in Ann Arbor and Columbus you're just another face in a crowd? Maybe NDSean is onto something and one of you Econ or math whizzes can plot a graph or something to confirm or deny this.

@BruceFeldmanCFB: Big get for #TexasTech. Former blue-chip LB Mike Mitchell is transferring from #OhioState.

Hilliard becoming even bigger for them

They've known about that attrition for months now, but it definitely ups the stakes for them in terms of bringing in a ready-made LB like Hilliard.
