only two active quarterbacks have started 12 or more regular season games without a loss: Everett Golson and Jameis Winston.

Am I the only one who didn't know Golson's middle name is "Demon"?

Lets hope that stays that way until Oct 18th!!! Could make that already epic matchup even bigger (and add a great story line too)!!!

Has Everett actually started 12 regular season games? I'm pretty sure he sat out the BYU game in 2012...could be wrong though.

Yep. And in theory he didn't "start" the Miami game either, although he came in on the first possession after the roughing the punter.

Generic question, but who pays for all of these camps and Everett's suspension workouts with Whitfield? Can the school help with that at all? What kind of money are we talking anyway? Seems like most of the best QBs in CFB have done these type of camps the last few years.

I was wondering the same thing. Can't be cheap.

Everett's family pays for it. IIRC, the family justifies the expense as the financial investment in Everett's future that they are fortunate enough not to have to make in the form of college tuition payments.

I'm 99% sure Whitfield charges $100 per hour.

You might not find a source on that, but I'm certain that's what I heard him say on TV last year.

I wonder for some of the higher profile college QBs if Whitfield does somewhat of a "pay me when you get to the league" deal knowing that these guys give him great exposure.

On phone so it's not copying and pasting correctly but in an article I googled he charges 150 a session for preps and 300 collegiate

I think someone (probably Everett himself) stated that the fall-winter camp cost about $7,000. Or at least in that neighborhood.

I googled it and the first article I was was an ESPN one, and it said for really young players he has charged as little as $40 per hour, and for NFL talent it's $150-300.
