In summary, Jashon needs to drop the bear claws and cheeseburgers and increase the Muscle Milk intake?

he probably just waits for the derailment to end and the mods to clean it up.

Looking at the posters, and the way the remaining conversation plays, how could anyone think there was a derailment? Impossible!

Some of us get enough conflict from our undergarments. And, some just wait for those that have nothing to say or don't know anything else, to have it out. And then feel free to chime in.

I'm not complaining, but I notice you're often like 12 hours late to a thread. Do you live outside of the USA?

I wouldn't call it a bump, but it seems like you always comment on a thread after it's been bumped, posted in, and then left alone for a half of a day, lol.

Unlike you, I actually work when I'm at my job! lol

I think Sampson brought this up but I guess the 2 sides just aren't communicating with each other right now.

I think BK needs to take over this recruitment like he did with Nyles and Redfields

Alabama offered.

From one of the guys that CB'd Cornell to Alabama today:

quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I changed my prediction from Michigan State to Alabama.

Cornell named MSU his leader and has a good connection to a coach there, but I can't see him as a Spartan and have other reasons to believe it won't be MSU.

There's a long history of Cretin-Derham Hall players attending Notre Dame, but I don't believe that that "history" will play a role with Cornell. He has connections at Notre Dame and has taken several unofficials there. ND is an option, but I don't think that he'll go there.

He also likes Michigan a lot, but I doubt Michigan will be his choice. Not enough recent success, and Hoke is on the hot seat.

He wants to play for a perennial powerhouse and he wants to play in the SEC. Bama fits the bill.

To sum up... he has no idea where Cornell ends up.

Haha. Not to say he won't end up at Bama but when has Cornell said he wants to play in the SEC. He may have told reporters that he recognizes it as a great conference but I've never seen him say I want to play in the SEC.

To be fair, Nick usually has his pick of the litter. If there's one group of recruitniks who are justified in reflexively CBing to their program, it's the guys who cover 'Bama.

I wonder how much we really want this guy considering there hasn't been anything positive to speak of for a while, or am I missing something?

FWIW:
One of Bleacher Report's "Bold Recruiting Predictions" is that Cornell will sign with ND.

Out of all of the others the wording they used was speculative, and lots of maybes, possibly's, etc. as well as several things we already know, but with Cornell, they said:

Cornell is a 4-star defensive end with a bright future. At 6'4" and 270 pounds, the Minnesota native has a ton of schools after him due to his size and first-step quickness.

Among Cornell's top suitors is Notre Dame, who 247Sports says is battling other programs such as Michigan, Ole Miss, Michigan State and Alabama.

Cornell will be announcing his decision on August 28, and that is when he will commit to playing for the Fighting Irish.

Last time we opened with Navy we had an alright season. I wouldn't mind looking past that mistake

Bleacher Report is good for one thing... entertaining polls/rankings/lists...

they bring absolutely zero real insight into the current sports world... but I hit it up for the "most badass wrestlers of the attitude era" type polls... good for a laugh.

I know their articles aren't always accurate, but I like reading them just to get other's perspective. It's good to know what other's think.

If I wanted a good laugh I'd follow you to the bathroom and watch you take a leak.
