I hate the media so much. With twitter, blogging, etc being a huge resource for "news" these days, I seriously wish it'd become better regulated. It should be completely illegal to make stuff up and report it as news just to get hits on the site. In this particular case, they could ruin a kid's future or at the very least his trustworthiness. Very few people these days will actually fact-check or cross reference the source of their news, so any rumor, etc can become blown up and trend worldwide. It's ridiculous.
The funniest part is that the "tell" that the article isn't sourced at all and 100% bullshit is actually later in the article where it says "A source close to the program told me that although
Michigan is his favorite school and where he really wants to go there, he has serious doubts in the stability of the coaching staff and keeps hearing from those close to him that Brady Hoke will potentially be fired after this season."
Either he has a really bad source, or he just flat out made this up. The truth is closer to the fact that Crawford liked ND on his visit more than he liked Michigan, but no offer came. Ohio State was also slow to offer. So Michigan did their typical pressure recruiting, and now Crawford is considering all of his options realizing that he has to make the best choice for himself.
The article, which is the very first mention anywhere of a decommit happening: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Michigan football loses ANOTHER star recruit: <a href="http://t.co/URX1sZZpTL">http://t.co/URX1sZZpTL</a> via <a href="https://twitter.com/ChatSports">@ChatSports</a></p>— Michigan Football (@AceChatSports) <a href="https://twitter.com/AceChatSports/statuses/467077362383716352">May 15, 2014</a></blockquote>
