Uh...I'm pretty sure injuries are FACT. They actually happen. There's no opinion on whether or not you're hurt. If you're hurt, YOU'RE HURT.

And if anybody that follows ND (not just fans), doesn't realize that ND was injury-plagued, then I'd say they're the naive ones. Either that or just flat out oblivious. Kinda hard to look at the defensive line and NOT notice the 340 pound giant missing in the middle...

The question about facts was relevant to the second bold sentence not the first. Do you have info that ND didn't lose the lead? Because you state it as a fact despite info to the contrary from people in the know.

My issue with what you're saying is that you expect Cornell or any other recruit to take our injuries into account when evaluating our season last year. But that's not what happens in reality. That's a fact.

Wow guy...just wow. Read my comment again please. I stated it was a bold prediction with no factual evidence to back it up...pretty sure that means it's not to be taken 100% seriously. Scarlett and Irving both seem to have ND trending at the moment, that's about all I have on that.

Seem to be trending, based on admittedly no info. Awesome

I have stated this thousands of times. I never stated this was fact. Nothing we say about a recruiting, outside of what THEY say is fact, and even that is rarely ever actual fact.

On this board, if you say something without saying "I think" or "IMO" or something like that, people will take what you say as fact. When you say something contrary to real information that we have and present it the way you do, you have to expect that we are going to push back on you.

Either stop taking things personally when you get criticized or stop presenting information as fact when it isn't. This isn't the first time you have done this IIRC.

Last thing. A quote from the article, "The blue-chip recruit was back in East Lansing for the spring game and tells 247Sports the Spartans are his top school."

ND DOES NOT CURRENTLY LEAD

we just offered scarlett how could anything be trending?

Scarlett has a 't' in his name. Notre Dame has a 't' in it as well. Therefore, per a certain poster's criteria, ND is trending. I mean, it's obvious dude.

Also, NDSean, what other teams had crazy injuries like ND (hint...there were quite a few).

I have no problem with NDsean or his optimism.

Just make sure you put 'IMO' or 'gut feeling', or something along those lines, because although there are some that follow ND daily and are in the know, some posters only check in sporadically, and so your opinion can be confusing if it's interpreted as 'recent news'.

GO IRISH!

Easy up guys. NDSean is just bringing some sunshine into our otherwise dreary world of pessimism.

Shoot, I peeked at the LSD thread and magoian was in my mind. I got public enemy #1 confused with #2. I'll take a lap.

NDSean, you don't bother me at all, just read my above post por favor.

Clearly he's new to being an ND fan or else he'd be pessimistic and butthurt like the rest of us who have watched Boob Davie and Charlie Weiser.

ND is just fine here. There is onen thing that this staff has learned over the last 2-3 years, is when to put the full court press on. They know when they can really go after a kid and have it make a difference. 2 years ago they put a full court press on Jaylon Smith about this time of the year. I would imagine they are going/doing the samething for Hilliard right now and NDs focus is on Hilliard until he pops. Then they will be able to figure out a gameplan for their other kids like Cornell.

And contrary to some reports/opinions out there...I like Cornells game. Is he explosive like Tuitt? No. Is he a better athlete than Tuitt? Yes. In my opinion, he is suited to play a role like Sheldon Day. Cornell is adding good/bad weight right now, but as a junior, I am really not worried about bad weight. But if he gets up to 280, then he has the ability to slide inside/outside and play multiple roles along the Dline.

I do agree with everything that you have to say except for Cornell being a better athlete than Tuitt. Tuitt in shape at 290ish he's arguably the best DE ND has ever had. 290ish with freakish athleticism. Cornell is definitely not at that level. I like his game but it's two different beasts.

It is pretty much a done deal that we will be landing Cornell. Despite what all the reports are he will be committing to the Irish in August and will likely bring Scarlett, and Hilliard with him.

NDSean,
I think most fans don't know how bad injuries are for teams other than their own. I never know what injuries our opponents have unless it's mentioned during the game or someone on IE posts it.

Bo Scarborough is transferring in next year as well. Book it.

Seriously I don't mind ND Sean's positive disposition. I read his posts knowing full well it is his opinion and not reliable information.
