Yep. He has done great on the trail but he hasn't done it where it matters on the field. Will be interesting to see how well they do moving forward after another 3-4th place finish in the West this year. Gonna feel some heat after they go 8-4 this year.

I think that we'll see a big drop-off offensively this year with the Manziel factor gone. 6-6 is just as possible as 8-4 right now. If he is on the hot seat, recruits will start to cool in a hurry on the Aggies. Top recruits see when you take high 4 star and 5 star guys and can't win games, so I think this year will tell a lot about the direction of the program.

Also, if I were their fans, I'd be pretty content with 8-4 for the first year post-JFF. Your book probably also thinks 11-2 is a shitty year haha. I just think A&M should be a little more realistic considering they were a middle-of-the-road Big 12 team before Sumlin showed up. Just my opinion.
