Thanks for posting, cant wait to have a qb who can make those throws again.

Seriously. After spending a season watching Rees I feel like I'd forgotten that it was possible to throw on the run.

While I was watching the video, I was thinking that there is not one single play in this highlight that Rees could make. A bit exaggerated, but not much.

If somebody thinks they are going to beat Notre Dame the next two years they better play damn near perfect football. Rees is gone and it is time to kick ass!

I'm anxious to see how he looks after the 10 weeks with Whitfield. I'd forgotten his explosive talent. Sure he had his growing pains, but his dynamic ability and potential were obvious.

You could count them on one hand, for sure.
Man did Golson take over at the end of that Pitt game. Can't wait to see him back. And that bit from his high school this fall is pretty cool.

any way they have a stat on 3rd down conversion % with golson at qb for 2012?

seemed like every time i turned around he was extending plays and more imortatnly extending drives with 3rd down conversions.

eagerly awaiting the "return of the king" here in 2014

The crazy part was how quickly Golson improved. Each game got better and better. Watching the entire playbook come together next season will be a beautiful thing. He's got plenty of weapons to work with, too.

Yeah I thought his last 4 games, Pitt, BC, Wake, and USC, were tremendous. Also felt he played as well as he could have against Bama.

Sky's the limit.

During the Michigan State game last season, when Golson scrambled to his right and hit Goodman for the deep TD, I jumped up and started sprinting around my basement yelling that I loved mobile QBs. Then on his TD run when he scrambled to his left and got to the pylon, I just sat there and giggled like a little girl.

And I need to watch that Oklahoma game again just for the good feels.

I was just thinking about that play.

I felt like it ushered in a new era of ND football.

Here it comes again. Let's go EG! Go Irish!

If you handle it, last year's NC game is currently on ESPNU. The second half is just starting. It's about the only part of the game I can watch and EG really made some nice plays in the 2nd half.

Thanks for the heads up. I turned it on in perfect timing! It's 28-0, and now it's about to get better.
