Drue would probably transition more smoothly into the DOG LB role, but I am very intrigued by his athleticism at ILB. That said, landing Morgan would be great for a number of reasons, one of them being the ability to slide a jumbo safety (Tranquill) into a role that requires adding less weight.

This would be the best thing. Shumate did pretty good as a nickle last year, and Luke has been good this year. But it would be awesome to see someone really fit into that Slaughter-type "star" spot, which I think Tranquill could do.

Yeah, I think Nyles is a difference maker who has a spot as long as we have scholarships to give.

It was reported earlier in the fall on BGI that if we get Tranquill, we will be done at ILB except for difference makers like Morgan. Not sure if that still holds true ... considering the recent offers to Sykes and Hill, I kind of doubt that it does.

Agreed. Hill can fit into any of the LB spots. He has great pass rushing ability and, despite his size, he has long arms that make him like Shembo.
