'14 IL ILB Nyles Morgan (Offer)

247 update was pretty positive. First time getting to talk football with Diaco and he likes we are only 90 minutes away and his family could see his games.

One time will distance from home work in our favor?! JUST ONE TIME.

Idaho and Troy? #SEC

to be fair... they have played a pretty daunting schedule to this point. Texas, Alabama, A&M, LSU, Vandy. Not an easy schedule by any means.

Navy and Air Force aren't the most impressive future opponents ever either

was just thinking this but didn't feel like getting in an argument (not saying you're argumentative Lax, just saying in general).

Don't hold your breath.

Upcoming Ole Miss schedule:

Idaho, Arkansas, Troy, Missouri, Mississippi State.

SEC teams have a tendency to schedule out of conference cream puffs late in the season. I would also argue that Navy could probably beat Troy and Idaho.

It wouldn't help that's for sure. I remember at one point last year they talked about playing together but then they were just interested in different schools. The positive is that while Ole Miss made up big ground on LSU for Garrett, his next two trips are both to LSU.

Ole Miss remains the team to beat with Vandy behind them. His decision will likely be around or on signing day although he could commit at the Army AA game. In-home visits will be huge

He (re)tweeted something today about playing on the best D in the country with Jaylon Smith and Richard Yeargin.

He's got a lot more legitimate interest in ND right now than he had previously. Whether we can actually win out in his recruitment is another question entirely.

Lax I really feel like he could step in day one and be a real contributor. He could play the will to begin which is simpler than the mike and have a huge impact

Drue and Morgan.

Along with Councel and Grace.

Good future. Good tackles. Good coverage. Beastly blitzes.

Put Deeb in there, maybe Randolph. Martini seems to be forgotten by the masses. He has been committed for so long lol.

It would be great if we could land Morgan. It would allow us to be very flexible with Drue. Give him a try at all the positions and see where he fits best...

Drue would probably transition more smoothly into the DOG LB role, but I am very intrigued by his athleticism at ILB. That said, landing Morgan would be great for a number of reasons, one of them being the ability to slide a jumbo safety (Tranquill) into a role that requires adding less weight.

I agree. It will be interesting to see where he lines up.
