Yesterday in the film it looked like Troy blocked well. Today it looked like he had one of the more acrobatic diving catches I have seen out of a Tight End.
I'm still surprised that we didn't just focus on throwing him slants through the middle of the field. Really any passes that put him on their tiny/slow linebackers. He was a mismatch for every player on their defense and we targeted him once.
On on that target, he took it to the house.
You have to figure it was by design... it's just baffling otherwise...
thought Folston had a catch
Robinson 0/1
The Robinson target should be given to Niklas. Regardless, I think two targets for Niklas was by design as others have said. The TE will play a bigger receiving role in the offense as the playbook is opened up.
Still not sure that throw was to 88, but overall very happy of the distribution.
Any chance of a first round draft pick? 3 in a row would be untouchable on the recruiting trail.

Three?
Tyler Eifert: First Round 2013 | 21st Pick | 1st TE
Kyle Rudolph: Second Round 2011 | 43rd Pick | 1st TE
John Carlson: Second Round 2008 | 38th Pick | 2nd TE
Anthony Fasano: Second Round, 2006 | 53rd Pick | 4th TE
Jerome Collins: Fifth Round, 2005 | 144th Pick | 4th TE
This dude, Gronk-mini needs 5+ targets a game. He is becoming dominant as a blocker and the matchup nightmare he has become needs to be taken advantage of more. If you can't see it as a GM and you miss out on Gronk 2.0, get your resume ready.
Gronk-Mini? he is taller and heavier than Gronk![]()
