Jealous of your Pliny. Need to make a trip to get some...

Ska Euphoria tonight while watching the Jayhawk basketball game on ESPN3.

What do you think of it?

I just poured my last Pliny the Elder right now.

Earlier I had Green Flash Green Bullet Triple IPA. Not very good.

Terrific. Really good beer. Wish Russian River distributed to MI.

Agreed, I wish they distributed to AZ. If you enjoy sours you might want to get some of Russian River's as they make the best Sours out there.

I hate packing. For that matter I hate moving.

Victory Hop Wallop to ease the pain.

My favorite Scotch Ale. Just too damned expensive to keep stocked on a regular basis.

Thank you Whiskey.
I thought it was very good but I agree that it is a little expensive. I paid $7 for a 500ml bottle.

So far tonight
Lost Abbey Framboise De Amorosa (a raspberry sour)

Monkey shoulder scotch. Been wanting to give it a shot..not a blend fan but this is a b lend of single malts only. No grain..

Not bad at all but for the same money I reach for Evan Williams single barrel.

Anderson Valley Heelch O'Hops DIPA.

Not as hoppy as I was wanting, but has the classic west coast IPA flavors. Pretty solid.

Tom Collins with some alterations of my own design.

2 oz. of beefeater gin
Juice of half a lime
Juice of half a lemon
1/3 oz. of simple syrup
Splash of Lillet

Shaken over ice and pour over an ice sphere. Not bad.

I'm starting off the weekend PKT!

Three Floyd's Alpha King

NDBoiler, thanks for getting the weekend started. Can I say that I hate packing/moving?

Time for a bottle kill or two.

Bladnoch Forum Longmorn 1997 11yo 60.2%

Some nice vanilla and lemon notes but it is a little hot (not just because it is 60.2%, I have had some whiskies in the 70%+ range that don't burn like this), it is what I call a gutbuster, as it burns all the way down to the gut. Rather glad this bottle is gone.

Laphroaig 10yo CS Batch 3 55.3%

The kill pour for this bottle is a little large (about 3oz). Loads of peat, wood smoke, salt, iodine, some smoked fish, and vanilla. I do enjoy this whisky on a nice crisp night. Sad to see it go.

2 inexpensive bottles of wine for a wine themed birthday party today. Broke College boy life.

Keeping it light today. Heading to the bar for some cheap Minnesota Martinis (Miller Lite with olives).
