Funny story: I was at work Saturday and we were watching the game. During half-time I had to go up front, away from the TV and as the third qtr. was starting, one of the guys I work with came up and said "hey ND is putting in some new freshman at QB". I immediately bolted to the TV in back and have never been so glad to see Tommy on the field.

One thing this great season is easily causing us to overlook is the shoring up of this excellent recruiting class. Alex Anzalone's confirmation of his commitment to ND tonight reminded us of this fact. This is a beast class (with a little room to get even better) and our 9-0 start has keep these guys solid. Not that this is the only reason, but it sure has helped.

On a more serious note...... we will have to replace 4 Seniors on the Offensive line, next year. And I haven't seen a lot of the O Line backups getting PT, which is a matter of concern for me.

I think Watt and Martin both stay. For the chance to compete for a NC. Along with Cierre Wood. His draft stock is screwed anyways with BK not utilizing him enough.

We will at most have to replace 3... I think only 2... Will be shocked if Watt doesn't return. Could see Martin leaving but I think he will come back too.
