Really loving his visit to Oregon so far which was surprising to Hopkins at 247.
He wasn't supposed to like it?

Per 24/7, Oregon is now one if his top schools. Loved the people and the poly presence there. Liked that everyone was laid back and the coaches didn't yell very much and didn't cuss. The thing I liked is that both he and his parents said it was "one of my best visits." Not the best visit, just one of the best visits. Officials left to Bama and Michigan.

Um, didn't their DC just get reprimanded for going nuts and cussing in a post game presser?
With Smith, he has high interest in Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Oregon, but a source close him told us he doesn't see Smith going far from home. He is close with his family and they are USC fans. Buckle your seat belts until signing day.
For Smith in particular, the visit went even better than expected.
"I thought it was going to be all about the facilities, but it wasn't," Smith said. "It was a great feeling. The environment at Oregon's stadium is something else. It was so loud, and the fans are great people too."
While Smith said it was too early to know where exactly this puts Oregon on his list, the two-way standout added that, "Oregon is another top school to look out for."

So, ... you're telling us that the circulation's started back up in your hands again?
Cancelled OV to UM, will OV USC instead. That's a problem.

Try the "stranger." I hear it is excellent.

need sc to hopefully, somehow, someway, whiff on a coaching hire, again.
Remember what happened to their class at the end of last year? They will have TWO more losses before this year is over. 7-5 on the season.
I'm not sure their record is going to matter to him, I believe the thing he is waiting to see is who the new coaching staff will be. That will be the difference in his recruitment, we still have a chance but he is by no means a lock to ND and I would be skeptical about us landing him if we are being completely honest.
