prolly meant great in their own way...seems like a good kid that wouldn't openly bash the lack of morals the school located in cbus holds (outside of aaron craft)

Nothing major. Just says that he won't make a decision until all his visits are over. Don't expect much info out of him.

Safeties- Redfield, Smith, Shumate, Hendrix

Corners- Russell, Luke, Butler, Watkins

We're going to a new defense though, since we can't land an ILB and NT. It's the "Cat Attack." 1 DE, 4 CATs, 1 DOG, 2-3 Corners, 2-3 Safeties.

Interestingly enough when we started to recruit Tranquill as a possible ILB, I definiely thought why don't they try and turn Barratti into one. They have very similar bodies.

I agree. And I just don't think he would see the field if we land Juju and Hendrix. At least at linebacker he would have a better chance at playing

He's definitely gonna have a hard time. I just don't see the difference between the two so why one and not the other was my thought. One thing I can think of is after having shoulder surgery making Nicky gain weight and take on a more bruising style of play may not be the best approach.

the only difference is Nick will have several years in the program and communication has been one of the big downfalls this year at the safety position which according to reports he was excelling at.....drue also being younger would have more time/maturation to help "bulk up" more...

I think the decision's already been made on Nick. I know they were talking about making him an LB when he first arrived, but he impressed everyone as a guy who was cut out to be a safety. I remember reading that people around the program couldn't get over how much he reminded them of Harrison Smith. I'd be surprised if he moves at this point, unless it's a situation where it's the only way he'll possibly see the field and he's too good to keep on the bench.

I agree it would be suprising, especially with his elite speed. BUT, the were talking on Power Hour this week about how if we don't land a kid like Nyles this cycle, there will be a lot of trying kids out at LB that we wouldn't think about being there. Nicky would be my guess as to who would get first try. He's incredibly fast, one of the fastest on the team, and hits very hard. I'm all for it. Him and Randolph would be excellent Will and Mike.
