Per jake Brown. ND likes where they sit with the Cali kids. Eric brown no buzz. I know some expected a couple commits but honestly from everything mods are reporting we hit it out of the yard. Most these kids won't be deciding till late in the process. IMO

Who is Nelson? Our committed OL? Am I drawing a blank?

Mike Frank seems to think we went from completely out of it with Morgan to in the race. That it was a really enjoyable visit for him. Still probably trail Ole Miss but we've got some angles to play now....

Frank also had positive things to say on Cornell. Weird that there is absolutely no info on Brown.

Sorry I meant Nelson being like he is 100% in now and will stop taking phone calls.

I haven't seen anything on Morgan. Was it a ISD update? I think it was HUGE that our defense played lights out Saturday night.

Brown I think is still on campus. Cornell I don't think he really likes the media thing.

I think the ISD interview sounded really good for us!

To me, it didn't fall into the category of simply "basking in the glow" of a visit because Juju's comments were extremely positive, very specific and didn't stick to the typical fodder. He spoke very highly of the importance of education, and also about the spiritual feeling found at ND.

It sounded like a kid who is truly, genuinely interested for a number of reasons that play into ND's strengths.

Wiltfongs update really couldn't have been better. Juju loved it and is very religious so the Grotto really hit home. Mother is very smart and came away very impressed with ND.

Just a quick nugget from Frank but he said in a post: "On Nyles Morgan, I think it was obvious ND had little chance before this visit. Now, I think they're fast rising. I found it interesting he posted he really enjoyed his visit on twitter. He rarely communicates stuff like that. Ole Miss is probably the team to beat, but I think ND has the family in their corner. The depth chart was another advantage for ND, plus the way they played D on Saturday."

I'd have to think they are both takes. Both too good. And honestly, we always end up short when we think we're going to go over so I'd push it this year.

I KNEW I WAS GOOD FOR SOMETHING!!

-The academic side of things is what stood out the most to him.

-Atmosphere was incredible. Said that the defense really stepped up.

-Redfield was his host. Said he was a great host. Hung out with Luatua and Mama a lot.

-He was asked to compare it to his OSU visit. Said both schools were great and couldn't say which school stood out more to him. Thinks he fits in really well at both schools.

few things i liked from that:

- mentions the defense, which is good for us b/c urban's is terrible. and shows that he doesn't mind playing on that side of the imo.

redfield being his host is also good, builds a bond with someone in his shoes and shows redfield is all in

urban is dancing on thin ice i really hope his merry go round crashes soon. two straight undefeated seasons and recruiting would explode even more for him

What makes me so confident is his recruitment is that he takes his religion and faith seriously. No other school he is considering can come even close to what Notre Dame offers in religion
