Doesn't Lorenzo know God roots for Notre Dame? This should be an easy decision for him.

Also, I'm just going to stick this post from last week right here:

Shake things up = ND and Oregon.

Being real here, I have to say that ND is either 2nd or 3rd on this list, maybe even 1st if his OV goes well (which is very much should). ND is one of the only schools on this list that have stayed consistent, despite his shifts and turns.

Lorenzo Carter: State's No. 1 prospect talks Top 7 | College Recruiting Blog | www.ajc.com

I feel comfortable saying we are 4th. Also I still don't believe him when he says Florida is his leader.

After seeing that interview, I agree we are 4th in what I think is really only a 4-team race. LSU, FSU and Oregon seem to be just throw ins. With that said, I think 4th in this situation is a really strong position to be in. It's almost like we're in 2nd (1. SEC, 2. ND) and all we need to do is beat the SEC. Easier said than done, but I like where we are.

I prefer going against the SEC state schools actually. ND can prove that they are truly unique while UF, Bama, UGA, and LSU are all fairly similar. If he buys into the academic part of it we have a pretty good chance here.

All four of these schools have top-notch everything, so I think it will boil down to this:

Alabama: the Process; can't argue with all the success
Florida: we should be the best and we are right there, put us over the top
Georgia: Richt; faith, family, football (i.e., I am an incredibly nice, caring man, and set that tone for my team)
ND: we'll get you there in football, but there is more to life

....

LSU and FSU: WOOOOOOOOO! (4 year hiatus from reality)
Oregon: Blig, bling

I can just see a recruit asking les miles what LSU and the program can do for him, and les responding WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'm so confused, he says he is asking about engineering then gives preference to mostly SEC schools? Not that I think engineering is even a possibility for any football player anywhere but that statement is either purely naïve with no understanding of what an engineering degree entails or he just wants to sound smart.

Wouldn't you pretty much need to be a genius in order to play football and get an engineering degree at ND? Unless things have changed a lot in the last 20 years (likely) I don't think you have the scheduling flexibility to make it work for practice and stay on track academically.

We get an OV + he is actually serious about academics = I like our odds at the end of the day

Go read the Drue Tranquill thread, or the Off-Topic previously found in recruiting threads thread if it's not in Drue's. No need to rehash this discussion but the answer is it's nearly impossible.

Carter and McMillan sets their OV to Bama for the LSU game. A couple of interesting observations. Carter will announce five days after the visit and he has stated several times he wants to play with McMillan. Right now, the consensus is that Bama and tOSU lead for McMillan. Carter doesn't list tOSU in his top seven. I am starting to like the Tide's chances here.

Les Miles will tell him he can get into a lot of trouble and still play.

They were going to interview some of Booker T's fans at halftime but no one saw anything.

No joke! Kid actually seems to have decent feet. I just tuned in right before half but i am curious how he finishes out.

I turned it off at half. Wasn't getting anything from Carter so I didn't see the point anymore.

Ingrahm really moved well for 315 lbs. Anyone have any info on him? He doesn't seem to have a profile anywhere.
