Again, not that I don't believe you but pretty much everyone (me, myself, I) say I'm a french model. Bonjour?

Yeah, but if the people saying it worked for Vogue, GQ, etc, I would believe them.

If everyone who has major sources at ND is saying it (and not just schmucks like us), and you don't want to believe them, well, I don't know what else to tell you.

As I responded to BGIF, I was trying to be funny which apparently fell flat. My apologies.

Golson will be training summer and fall. As of now, I dont think he will enroll at any school from what I have heard, that may change obviously, but from what I have got he will not be in classes anywhere. I believe he will be in Chicago training.

Wouldn't be surprised if he does an online class or two.

From my understanding is that with him withdrawing he wasnt ineligible/kicked out/etc...He withdrew on his own terms so grades were technically not the reason he is not in school. Essentially, in the Spring of 2014, he will just be a year behind schedule academically compared to his incoming class. Whether it helps him in the long run to take a some classes this fall, will remain to be seen. Personally, if I were him, I would get in a few classes that will transfer to ND so he can still take a lighter load during the season. Thats a win-win for him.

He will lose a year of eligibility, so he will have 2 years left to play college football.

He knows the steps, and ND knows what will be required to get him back and those steps wont be missed.

How does this effect a potential "5th" year? Would he still be able to graduate after his 4th year? I only ask, because I thought I read on here that you had to be in graduate studies to play in your 5th year.

Comebacks are usually tougher than getting there the first time. I wish EG much luck.

That's an interesting question, especially given the circumstances and ND's usual system of university/academic (not just football program) approval for a fifth year. Have we had guys in the past who weren't on track to graduate in four who received a fifth year? Or, since Golson was ahead of the game as an EE and most ND football players are on track to graduate at 3 1/2, would he be a grad student by the fall of 2015 anyway? Anyone know?

You get five years to use four years of eligibility. This would be just like someone who is a normal student who just graduates in five years. But he already enrolled early so it seems as though he would be on the same track as most normal football players;

Here's some text that accompanied the Mark Haggard, WDPE News Channel 15 video. They're cover Myrtle Beach and Florence, SC.

Golson back in Myrtle Beach, talks with WPDE NewsChannel 15 : Sports : CarolinaLive.com

Three times he pushed Golson in the video and three times Golson politely explained that he was not going to talk about the why but rather that he expected to be back at Notre Dame in the Spring.

The guy who was asking the questions in that video sounds like a dooshnozzle. Sheesh.

TP, do you know if Everett is allowed to be around the team at all before he re-enrolls? Is he allowed to go and observe practices, be on the sidelines for a few games, etc?

No way. That would just look wrong. Im sure he will be in contact and hanging outside of campus with them at times, but there is not one good thing that can come from him being around the team.

STL- He did say he was coming back in the spring.

Thanks but I was making a joke of the fact that three people linked the same story (two hours after BGIF) saying Golson said he will return this spring.

I'd prefer if he spread his grandfather's ashes on the ND field. Then we'd know he is a keeper.
