Best shows on Netflix?

What are the best shows to watch on Netflix?

I'm living in a hotel the whole summer, so would like to watch a lot of good shows.

So far I've seen:

Lost - 4 stars. First two seasons are probably the best seasons of any show I've ever seen, after season 3, it's a waste of time.

Arrested Development 5-stars, although last season was a disappointment.

Walking Dead - 4 stars. Little slow moving, not much of a thinker.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - 5-stars. Great comedy, and especially for sit-and-go. You don't have to know the characters to laugh your *** off.

South Park - 5-stars.

The Office - 5 stars.

Breaking Bad - 5 stars.

Parks and Rec - 4.5 stars. Good comedy, but you can live without it.

Anything else? I watched an episode of 'Dr. Who' and it was a bit out there for my taste.

I could seriously watch every episode of the Chapelle Show over and over.

My Sons of Anarchy obsession began on Netflix.

Not a big fan of House of Cards.

Friday Night Lights is good for a season or two.

Wilfred, though only one of two seasons is on it.

Psych is amazing!

Prison Break is a good show. Similar to what you said about Lost, the first two seasons are great but after that it drops off. Still would recommend it though.

Everest: Beyond the Limit

Documentary about a team that tries to climb Mount Everest. It's over-dramatized and everything seems life and death...but, on Everest, it actually is life and death.

There are 8-10 shows or something that are all about 45 minutes.

Highly recommend.

House of Cards! If you have even a slight interest in how behind scenes politics work in D.C.....or just a Kevin Spacey fan. Possibly his best work in my opinion...

Coupling - British sit-com. It's been years since I watched this, but this is a fantastic comedy. It's sort of an unneutered version of Friends.

Freaks and Geeks - I know people like to throw this on "cancelled too soon" lists, but I think its cancellation is actually the biggest favor the network could've done the show. Its 18-episode run is pretty perfect.

Battlestar Galactica (except for the final episode; watch the first like 30 minutes of that episode, turn it off, and make up your own ending. I guarantee you it'll be better than the atrocity that is the last 30 minutes of this show).

Sports Night - Aaron Sorkin's comedy/drama about the crew of a SportsCenter clone. The laugh-track is kind of jarring for the first few episodes, but they slowly dial it down and do away with it entirely by the second season.

Firefly - space drama by Joss Whedon and starring Nathan Fillion. There're no aliens; it's more of a western in space. The writing's really clever. Only one season, but you can follow it up with Serenity - the movie that grew out of this show. It's kind of amazing how many of the actors in this show went on to much bigger roles elsewhere: Morena Baccarin (the alien leader in V, Brody's wife in Homeland), Christina Hendricks (Joan in Mad Men), Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson in Suits, Jack Crawford's wife in Hannibal), Alan Tudyk (hasn't taken off so much as become a "that guy" in a ton of shows/movies), Summer Glau (the Terminator TV show). There are also three pretty recognizable faces who were already established: Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, and Jewel Staite (she was in like half the shows Nickelodeon aired during the 90s, so there's probably only a very specific age group that would find her "recognizable").

The IT Crowd - Brit-com starring the guy who's now the lead for HBO's show Family Tree. It takes a little while to get going, but it's fantastic by the end.

I've also heard really good things about Louie. For some reason, I never can get myself to sit down and watch it. I think it might just be that, while I think Louis CK is hysterical, his comedy also really bums me out.

So I decided to watch Trailer Park Boys, don't know why.

Anyways, on the 4th episode of season 1 and it's pretty awful so far, lol. I mean, bubbles is funny, but all they do is fight all day about the dumbest stuff. I expect it to pick up, but not very impressed right now.

Workaholics is hilarious but they only have Season 1, I watched it in one day haha.

The best show ever on TV is not on Netflix unfortunately, Boy Meets World.

Finished up Breaking Bad (A+) and moved onto House of Cards

There's a documentary on William Colby that's pretty darn good.

No to the movie but I've heard you should watch season 2 before season 1. I'm sure it doesn't matter either way, but what a friend of mine suggested.
