What position is Bama recruiting him for? Kinda a tweener for their 3-4. Right now he's 6-4 248lb. His frame is already pretty filled out so I don't think he could gain another 40 pounds to get up to propper 3-4 DE weight. On the other hand he looks to big to be a 3-4 OLB. If I was him I'd want to go to a school that runs a 4-3

Agreed Philly, got to side with Michigan fans on this one, he should play in a 4-3 not a 3-4

I don't think Michigan can out recruit the big dogs for him though

The fact that he is scheduled to attend the Bama Va Tech opener has some starting to predict he is a Bama lean. That's a bit of a stretch but 247 is starting to climb on board with it as well. Of course, predictions will probably change like the wind.

I actually think Peppers is sticking barring something major and unforeseen, but I agree with you that I don't think they land Hand in the end. I think Bama is where the hand turns into a fist.

I just can't believe they landed the kid in the first place! I have no idea what they were selling him but it must've been something great. I've never said this before, but Michigan did a hell of a job on Peppers

It helps when the kid grows up a die-hard fan haha. But sometimes that's not enough, so I give them props. He is their Jaylon Smith this year.

Also saw a post on rivals saying they'll probably get a visit from Fournette. Fans here in Ann Arbor are down right giddy... it's making me sick.

Fournette will end up at LSU or Bama. I think UM is on the outside looking in on this one.

peppers/hand and fournette have talked about playing together at UM...read this somewhere and if they landed all 3 this could be one of the best all time classes...not my opinion something i read


Hand made it very clear that academics are in the front of his mind and that was ultimately why Virginia Tech got cut.

Alabama: “I talked to the engineering dean and he’s actually a football guy. At the time I talked to him they did a $25 million project with something. I forgot what it was, but they were doing some big things LOL

Florida - they have sports marketing and engineering. I’ve heard it’s a great school and I’ve been talking to the coaches.

Michigan: “The sports marketing professor blew me, my dad and my coaches away. You don’t understand, dude had us wanting to sign up right now. My dad said he wanted to go back to school again and wanted to learn from that guy.”

Crazy that he cut VT. Kid seems like a classic few screws loose waffling #1 recruit. Always expected SEC schools to enter the race, never expected Tech to get cut.

Probably ends up at Michigan. And no way does Peppers flip IMO. Michigan is staring down 9 wins at minimum this year baring a rash of injuries. When you compare their schedule to ours it is utterly laughable.
