Eh 36th round won't really lead to a big signing bonus or anything. Taking him there is kind of a favor to the family.
Have to agree with all of this.

Is the "most likely" part because of getting drafted for baseball or for some other reason?
Wouldn't the signing bonus for a 36-rounder be like $15,000? I doubt he's going to bite on a baseball offer at this time.
Got drafted by the Tigers in the 36th rd of mlb draft. Coincidentally who his dad plays for..
He doesn't seem to understand much of what this means yet. He told a kid on Instagram who asked if he was still going to ND that he "didn't know." I am sure once he talks to his dad and Sr. explains to him that he would basically be starting below single A and it was more or less done out of gratitude that he will realize his career is in football.

He isn't going to play baseball. Stop it.

For reference, "The Arizona Diamondbacks have used a 34th-round draft pick on Arizona State outfielder Cory Hahn, who was paralyzed during a game in 2011.", per ESPN.
Torii's on the right path.
So a paralyzed kid (God bless him) was drafted before Torii? He can't be that good then.
Why the hell does baseball even bother with all those rounds then? If they're just using them to draft legacies and paralyzed kids, why go through with the charade? Or why stop there and just make it like 2,894 rounds and draft every kid who has cancer or some other obstacle in life?
A 62 round draft-- reason number 113 why MLB sucks.

A day or so late but I didn't see this posted yet.
