Not sure about exact height but he definitely has the body for being a big time outside receiver. Has a lot of work to do when it comes to technique but definitely has a lot of raw athleticism to work with.

I counted the number of WR ahead of him on the 250 and he's at #26 right now. That's a drop from #21.

Whaaat? Gay.

I hate it when they update the 150 or 250 list, but the position lists are still out of date. I simply looked at the #21 that was still there.

As long as Justin hits camps, I believe he can climb substantially, but it really depends on that.

Yeah. The position ranks haven't been updated since March.

He was at a camp recently, but had to leave early due to prom. Maybe that hurt him a bit. Plus, the offers have stopped rolling in cause of his early commitment. That could be affecting it as well. He'll be alright, rankings-wise and even better when he gets to ND.

Wiltfong at the NFTC in Columbus today: "Notre Dame WR commit Justin Brent has been arguably the top player here today at his position."

The Opening and Rivals Challenge for Brent, he has deserved a bump in ranking for a while.

Awesome news, as I was skeptical of his talent. Shows what I know.

Sorry if posted, but is there a list of players for this camp?

I never followed recruiting all that closely, but are there usually 40 4-star WRs? Seems a little inflated.

From tj34:

All-star type stuff aside, he's going to be very good. With a chance to be really good. As his football skills, knowledge, focus and dedication (ie, no more basketball and other stuff) catch up to his impressive athleticism and natural talents, he has a chance to do big things for us. In the way Derrick Mayes and Rhema McKnight did -- he's got a blend of some of their attributes and abilities. Blackmon also is a nice comparison.

He was special during our camp workouts and drills last summer, getting extensive work and giving consistently stellar performances. Caught the attention of everyone there and the whole staff. They offered then for a reason.

From tj34:

Makes sense with how conservative we were with WR offers early in the cycle pre transfers, there's a zero percent chance the staff would've offered him if they didn't think he was a great prospect.

I remember when we were playing lsu in the sugar bowl and Charlie weis said McKnight was a first round draft pick.
