Milwaukee's Best. $1.19 for 24 oz. I normally opt for the $2.00 40 oz., but didn't want to ghetto down on account of Mother's Day.

Cool! I worked in the wine and spirits industry for over twenty years based out here in California. I worked both for distributors and suppliers and had my own wine brokerage for a time. Got to work with some amazing people including some of the top master sommeliers including Fred Dame, Evan Goldstein and Larry O'Brien.

That sounds like a cool experience. Wine certainly keeps me on my toes. It feels like the ground is always shifting under my feet; just when I think I've got a good handle on things something pops up to let me know just how much I don't know.

Dude, Milwaukee's Best and Rolling Rock have been so damn cheap lately... I look at beer like that Thrift Shop song... I prefer the good stuff, but if the price is right... 'I'll rock dat mothafvka..."

Anderson Valley Boont Amber Ale. Found it in the back of my fridge when I was taking stock of what beers I currently have.

Karl Strauss Big Barrel Double IPA. I normally am not a fan of this brewery but this gets good reviews.

N: Super juicy. Orange, tangerine, peach, pineapple, mango, etc. Just hints of pine and malt.

P: Starts on a little orange pith, then some malt, and then the bitter hops kick in, taking it towards underripe grapefruit and pine.

F: Bitter grapefruit and malt.

The nose is heavenly, the palate is ok and the finish is disappointing. I would love to try it on tap sometime but it is just an ok overall DIPA, I would much rather have Stone Ruination for the same if not cheaper price.

Oskar Blues GUBNA Imperial IPA.

A very interesting Imperial IPA as they use some Rye in it. So it has orange pith, rye and some pine flavors. A good IIPA.
