You're way off here arrow. I don't think you're following USC recruiting very closely. They got 4 O-linemen to commit to them last year (3 of them had ND offers), while only signing 2 WR's.

I'll agree though that I'm anxious to see how Kiffy-boy does after Barkley leaves. He caught a HUGE break when Barkley decided to stay. They'll still be loaded with talent, but the thing to see will be how they use that talent with only 75 roster spots and an inexperienced QB at the helm...

You're right, I dont folllow USC recruiting closely. In fact, not at all. I just dont think Kiffin is half the coach Carrol was and I dont think he ever will be. Kiffin relies on 2-3 players too much (Barkley, Woods, and Lee last year). 3 players wont win a championship, it takes a whole team

These are some pretty amateur observations, no offense.

I hate Kiffin, but he is pretty underrated due to our bias against him. You make him sound like he's a junior high coach with a handful of studs and he just gives the ball to them every play. The man knows how to coach, you don't get to where he is unless you know the ins and outs of football extremely well.

He was 5-15 in the NFL, 7-6 with Tenn and USC 18-7 (all be it good, those a primaraly PC's kids)...I would wait a bit before before defending Kiffen so strongly. Daddy Kiffin has been the main reason for what decent success Lane has had.
