ND Class of 2012.

Majored in Biology, now a first year dental student at University of Detroit.

Hoping to actually start a dental school at ND as my career one day.

I am trying to rewire my house. I have one red wire that only shows up in a few boxes. What do i do with that?

I can't, in good conscience, recommend or condone NDBoiler's advice. Can't trust those BoilerMakerBoyz.

Over the years I've installed many a dimmer switch in apartments I've inhabited. As a homeowner (since 1983) I've not only come to be known as "The Dimmer Switch King" I've also done my reading on wiring do's and dont's as well as electrical codes. I've wired my garage (built in 1989), parts of my kitchen, bedrooms and basement. Nothing's caught fire (yet), everything works and no one has been electrocuted.

If you're at all close to serious, the red wire denotes, in the parlance, a "three" way switch which actually has two, separate, controlling switch points. The red wire is a pass-through of the "hot" black wire.

If you were just pulling legs ... Eff You, you palmetto bug bastage!!!

OK fine, I'll quit making jokes in this thread.

Got denied from ND as a senior in high school. Went to St. Louis University and did hoodrat stuff for a year.

Transferred to Notre Dame and graduated in 2011.

Transfer Nation rise up! Half as smart, twice as fun!

Those of you who have done MBAs: Worth it?

One of my professors, an ND undergrad and MBA grad, told me that if you do not go to a top 25 business school, don't waste your time. The cost is not worth the return. Top 25 business school, go for it. Don't know where you are as far as career goes, but speaking from experience (2013 grad) wait to see if your employer pays for it. I have a full time job at 1st source bank in south bend and they have a program that pays for you to get your MBA from ND.

Those of you who have done MBAs: Worth it?

Regardless of whether it's at ND or elsewhere, my view is that an MBA is something no one can take away from you. Watching this recession mow through countless of 20+ year tenure guys in major companies, you realize you need to distinguish yourself somehow - an MBA is a pretty good option.

When it comes to the monetary worth of MBAs, the typical thought that if it's a top 20 school, the ROI is pretty good.

I am happy with my choice to go through with it.

PM me if you want details on it

Several lawyers and wanna be lawyers on this board. By way of inclusion, spouse graduated from Toledo with a Chemistry degree and then went on to graduate from Georgetown Law.

Initially West Point. Graduated Occidental College in 1980. Law School in San Diego. Lived in SB from 64 to 68. Read Knute Rockne story a million times. A fan of Huarte/Hanratty/Snow/Eddy and many more. Have always followed the team and am die hard, almost to a fault. Went to Stanley Clark School in SB where my father was the headmaster.
