Deleted some of the smaller posts about the fight just as part of regular clean up. Posts that were responded to will be left for a little while longer.

To put it simply, there's no room for arguing about TP and his credibility in a recruit's thread because he is a poster on the site (it has nothing to do with him being an insider) and we've seen those fights get ugly fast...many times.

Finally, stop making mods out to be Gestapo like figures. We're typical posters who have been asked to delete posts and threads that are not appropriate and approve new members...and that's about it.

Did not something similar happened with Davaris Daniels? I mean, a reporter told that he will go to Miami and then it was all a lie. I ask because i do not remember well the story.

I kind of feel this way myself so I am still clinging to hope for KC until he actually comes out and announces.

Daniels wanted to go to ND, but he was not cleared academically yet. He scheduled a press conference at his school for a commitment. Without a committable offer from ND, he decided to verbal to Miami, but the UM staff had not talked to him in some time and was not prepared to accept his commitment. After his PC, the UM staff talked with Davaris, and they decided to move on. He took some more time, qualified for ND, and committed.

Why would anyone predict Irish when ISD confirmed he offered a commitment to Miami today?

He's going to be a really good player for us. Wish all of the academically borderline recruits could follow this trajectory.

Was reading on Miami's Rivals page and the last question they asked K.C. is does he have any message for the Canes fans before he makes his decision? He smiles and says "root for my brother." He is adamant that he will have to answer some questions prepared by his mother this weekend, his decision will be based on how he feels answering those questions and some he has for himself.

Just saying???

For blue-chip OT's family, recruiting's been crazy since '05 - CBSSports.com

Reminded that, even after his son announces his college choice, it will still be almost 10 months from Signing Day and that it won't stop the flurry of recruiting activity surrounding his son, Randy McDermott disagreed with a chuckle.

"Oh, I'll make it stop," he said. "If I have to call the head guy myself. I'll make it stop. This is just our opinion as a family, I don't know that the recruiting process is healthy for kids. It fills their heads with all kinds of different things for a 16 or 17 year that needs to be a high school student and work on their grades and not think he's all that and a bag of chips."

Still love this kid and his family. I believe they got a real handle on this. Hate to say it but I think Miami got a great one.

Yep, really painful miss, if it's true that he's Miami's. McDermott is everything that you want.

"With Miami and Notre Dame, you're talking about two world class institutions. They're razor thin in regards to the differences if you break it down from an education standpoint, from a coaching standpoint. Notre Dame is obviously coming off a great year, going 12-0 and playing for the national title. That's impressive. The biggest difference, and what we told Notre Dame, is location." - Randy McDermott

Oh dear. If they believe the biggest difference is location, well, that explains why K.C.'s heading to Coral Gables.

Miami is a great school, and when you're from the area I'm sure you equate the two. Just a regional thing. Razor thin? Eh..
