So either this is a Gunner Kiel where people jumped the gun with false reports or he made a private commitment and it got leaked by a dbag. I'm leaning towards the latter.

Sounds right. Guess the ND visit wasn't that great.

“@NashWilliams1: Even if it's premature, @SFHSSports broke some "premature" news about Joseph Yearby committing. Which ended up being true. Waiting til Tues.”

True dat...It's a long recruiting process.

Huuuuuuuuge bummer. Going to be sad when we miss on all these OL recruits we're in the top 2-5 for.

What makes you think we are going to miss out on all these OL recruits? We missed on one, and it's freaking March!

Well we have already missed on Cole, Ross Pierschbacher and one or two other ones we were recruiting (Bauer maybe?). I still think that we are going to have a good O-line class but we keep barely missing out on some great ones.

And we are in great position for Mustipher(I think we lead), Smith, and Bars. Also, Jamarco Jones is visiting.

By 2-5-14, we are going to have our 4-5 OL recruits.

I agree we are in good position on all the names expect Jones (& to an extent Bars since he doesn't really talk to the media). For Jones it's:

Ohio State

Everyone else

I was a little hesitant to put Jones in there. I only did because he is visiting. When a recruit visits, you never know what can happen

While I agree with you, I have to believe KC was higher on ND's list than all of those guys except maybe Smith. We'll be fine no doubt, but this still sucks.

That's the crappy part of recruiting. The only thing that matters is you are #1, second and third get nothing.

When Miami goes 3-4 and we are 7-0 this upcoming season the tune being sung will be different.

Seriously though, if the staff could get him to come to a game at ND stadium it would be huge.

Gameday atmosphere at ND >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Miami

That's another thing. If we go 10-2, 11-1, or please God 12-0 then we will be getting guys that aren't considering us right now. Last year we got Refield, Bryant, and Folston because of that

This may be true, but doesn't change the fact that he can play with his bro there. Best we can hope for is the NCAA cripples Miami sometime before our OL class fills up.

With the quid pro quo that will be going down because the NCAA pissed on the investigation, it's doubtful, but I hope for the same as you.

Either way, I agree that if we get him to come a night game in South Bend in October, it's seriously hard to beat that. Miami plays most of their games at noon with NO ONE IN THE STADIUM.
