Yep. We told him we weren't ready to offer him because we were only taking one more WR in the class but that he was as high as one could be on the coaches list without having an offer. I bet we are taking 2 more WRs now and that he gets an offer soon.

Since we already told him NO he might not want to come back unless his recruiter has stayed in touch with him a lot.

They didn't tell him no. They basically asked him to hold on. Not really any different from holding off on accepting a guys commitment.

“Coach Denbrock explained that they’ve got around 18 scholarships to give this year,” La Mirada head coach Mike Moschetti said.

“It looks like they’re going to take two wide receivers in this class and they’ve got one commitment. Dallis is an outside guy and they already have a commitment from an outside guy. The remaining receiver spot is probably going to be for an inside guy who can return kicks and punts.

“But, in saying that, he said the whole coaching staff loves him. They’re still going to talk to him weekly because a lot can happen between now until signing day. He said Dallis is high on their board. Right now they’re not quite ready to offer him, but he is as high up on the board as you can be as a wide receiver.”

Are some of the above posts are confusing separate conversations about Dallis Todd and Snodgrass?

We may have told Dallis Todd that it's not "no", just "not now"; but apparently we did say "no" to Snodgrass. Sapp said today, in response to a question from a poster, that we "discontinued" recruiting Snodgrass some time back.

But that doesn't mean we couldn't get back into it if we wanted to. We'll see. We need like 4 WRs now, at least 3.
