Army of Darkness is not a bad movie. This is not an opinion. This is fact.
I completely agree. I've actually got two different copies of AoD, one with the original ending (which is better imo) and the released ending. Still, I think the traditional movie buff would skip this movie as it stands. Take away it's epic cult status and it would be viewed as a critically deadpanned movie...but who ever cared what critics think?
To be honest, when we're talking about bad movies I have a hard time coming up with a list and I kinda have to go by critic's movie reviews. I've got an extensive B movie collection with a lot of crappy titles, and I typically love a bad movie for it's low budget over achievement hilarity as oppose to a big budget blockbuster.
Alright, heres another movie, and another favorite of mine. It's 96 minutes long, but at times it feels like twice as long. The comedy is great, but some parts of the story really drag on. It was one of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's first movies before South Park, a real low budget piece from Troma (Love Troma movies). The Indians scene always cracks me up, and the chief is great.
