While I agree that he should go to ND, lets not forget that UNC isn't a bad school at all. As for the catholic side of it, I go to a catholic high school and wouldn't mind not going to a catholic school for college.

Irishhog77, all you say is true and as I said before, I think this kid should go to ND. I am just reminding you that although his parents want him to stay close to home, he will still get a good education at UNC. In other words, his parents aren't sacrificing his education or future for their own interests.
