I like that he's repping us. Hope he can get done what he needs to so that he gets his offer. Either way it's hard to not root for this kid!

And I would respond by saying that each recruits personality has a direct effect on how ND will recruit them. I'm not dogging Morgan, I just don't want to get my hopes up like I did with Standifer, Yuri Wright, etc.

He is too short to be a LB for us. He is listed at 6'1", so he is probably no more than 6 foot flat.

I know we love "big" linebackers but i don't understand the reasoning for a small interior linebacker not fitting are system because of their height. They just need to shed blocks and pursue or cover in space. Im not an expert on the position or anything close to it but still to me it doesn't make sense.

Its March. No offense to Greg but theres just other options right now that are better now and later. ND has to be cautious with each player they take bc of the numbers game. This isnt a year that ND can take on "projects" or kids that dont fit the prototype of what they are looking for. Gregs weakness is pass coverage and playing sideline. ND has thr same weakness at MLB, so he isnt a player that is going to solve that. He has plenty of time to work on it, aka Deebs jr film was night and day compared to his senior film. Based off Gregs soph/jr tape i have seen he is good but doesnt solve what ND needs to improve on at mlb.

If he loves ND as much as he says he does, it probably shouldn't and it shouldn't matter. For Greg's sake, he should keep it open (obviously), find a school of best fit, hell, even commit if he wants to secure a spot, and if the ND offer comes after ND either A) changes it's opinion or B) wiffs on LBs they have higher, his dream comes true.
