He said he likes those three because they are college towns and have the college feel. "Miami is just Miami."

South Bend has a college town feel?

News to me. I guess Eddy St. counts a bit.

Would there be reason to pass it more than 10 times a game with the RBs on the roster?

Sony Michel, a five-star RB, could be close to a decision

He says he has no timeline, but may decide soon. Little bit of speculation from the 247 writer. Michel also talked about the 5 schools he is considering. Likes how ND uses backs both in the run game and pass game. The article also says there is some buzz (really, it said that) about Georgia. Michel himself didn't give any indication of leaning either way but he did just visit Miami.

Did he end up coming to Solider Field to watch us kick the s**t out of Miami?

I never have any idea where anyone would go, except guys like Eddie. Because I would go to ND, and I cannot see anything different.

But, this guy reminds me of a Greg Bryant as far as recruitment. I don't know if I would want to be a local school or football factory and get this guy's committment early. I think when it comes to crunch time, this guy really sweats about the dome: A)More and more high powered recruits are; B) He and Michael Deeb are friends enough. When he sees good things happening, that will carry lots of weight!

In the picture from the 247 article he looks like he's in the NFL combine. Maybe a little stretch but pretty darn close. Stacked for a high school junior.

Really hope we can use the connections currently on the team to pull either Michel or Starks next year.

Gonna be tough to get him out of Florida in my opinion, really hoping Miami blows again and sanctions come! Could help us big time with Sony and KC

it kills me how it's taking the NCAA soooo long to crack down on miami, especially with all the evidence against them

And some evidence may have been obtained illegally so it can't be used in the case.

NCAA fail.

Does this really matter? It may not speak well of them, but we are talking rules violations...not a court of law.

Yeah, I don't think the NCAA has to follow any rules of procedure. It can pretty much do whatever it wants, hence the widely varying punishments for seemingly similar infractions.

I think FSU and Miami might be the teams to beat, both can offer early playing time. I hope Deeb can work his magic and pull this kid north!
