1.)I hate you Jerian Grant. With Cooley still in the game, we make a run and tie it. At that point, you throw the ball twice to L'ville. You couldn't throw the ball in the Ocean because you kept settling for jumpers.

2.) One Minute period does not a season make, but I love you Jerian Grant. There are no words that could describe this. I will name my first born Jerian.

3.) Please, no calls for Garrick Sherman if Auguste struggles for the rest of BE play. He's still awful. He played well today against a team that was worn down.

4.) Eric, please work on you free throws. I can't take the idea of our one and only true ball handler being so hit and miss at the line.

5.) If we play help defense like we played today on the ball, we're going to be juuuuuust fine. I saw help defense from our bigs that I hadn't seen all season.

6.) 5 ot's is way to much time to drink beer. I have many other thoughts, but I'm not sure I could type them all without passing out at my keyboard.

very good win. This will hopefully give Brey and more importantly Sherman to play more/better. I haven't called him the Sherminator for 4 years for no reason. One game doesn't make a career though.

I'll say this as well....

Going into this year, I've always been fearful of Atkins playing against extremly quick (as well as the rest of the ND team) opposing guards. Siva was pretty much the benchmark, as he made Atkins look really bad his freshman year (in my opinion).

Today, the way we played defense, I loved it.

We had bigs helping on ball screens. I remember a few possessions where Cooley really helped out, and even swiched on a guard. That never happens in Brey's defensive system. Grant was very vocal on the defensive end, really calling out ball screens and help. If we play like that the rest of the way, I wouldn't be crazy enough to call for a National Championship, but man, we're going to be a tough match-up for anyone.

I hope this serves as a wake up call to Brey that he can give Sherman and Auguste more PT, especially Auguste. I would much rather have a 9 man rotation than a 7 man rotation. I love the athleticism that Auguste brings to the table and think he needs more minutes.

What an amazing, amazing game! I was shocked with how Sherman stepped up at the end. Cam hit a huge 3. Grant played a pretty bad game and then somehow turned into Reggie Miller and made three incredible plays in one of the greatest finishes I have ever seen. Sending the game into OT was just incredible, for it to go 5 OTs is simply insane. What a game! And a HUGE win that we really needed.
