Seems like any nomination would have to be a back-handed compliment -- you can't get nominated unless people think highly of you to begin with.

I look at as if other people think highly of a poster but you personally don't. As an example, NDinLA is up for 'Member of the Year' because some posters think I highly of them but the new guy just thinks he is overrated.

I think OMM was nominated not because it is a reflection of who he is or what he stands for, because I think we all recognize he is a great man. I think it is more that they think his posts are overrated.

I think it's the "idea" of trinity that's overrated. He's been gone all year and is still talked about like he's Jesus.
