Clarifying question:

This is saying: "Daniels is on the interview list. If he was still hurt/ not playing, it is unlikely he would be on the list. Therefore, he is likely playing."?

I just want to make sure someone else read it this way.

If he does play it is great news; he was getting a good rapport with Golson later in the season. It is good to have another taller threat along with Eifert.

I read it the same way, yeah. And I know Kelly said at his last presser that DvD is expected to be fine for the NC game.

Agreed to all of the above. One of the bright spots of this game was watching him and Golson do some work. I'm looking forward to more of that in the future.

He, TJ, and Eifert about the only guys who played at a high level.

I would add Golson to that list considering he was running for his life most of the game. I thought he did pretty well.

Agree, golson did well in my books, just got bad breaks and not enough possessions early on

One of the few bright spots. Hopefully he can take this personal momentum and turn it into a stellar 2013. Lord knows we're going to need a couple guys step up and replace TE's production/reliability.

I echo those above me.

DD is the #1 and compliments TJ quite well. I believe DD will have a breakout year with either Golson or Kiel back there. I know Golson has a good arm but Kiel's is better and should be exciting.

Kiel does not have a better arm than Golson...

Grahambo, we haven't even seen Kiel throw a live pass in a D1 game lol. Golson has a rifle with solid accuracy and we've seen that numerous times this year.

TJ and DD played their asses off last night.

Very proud of them on a night that had very few on the irish side of the ball

I'm already upset at myself for derailing DD thread but while I agree he puts solid zip on the ball, his accuracy leaves much to be desired. As I've stated before, I have no problem with him at all. I love EG. I'm not bothered by him at all. I'm just excited for the position battle this spring/summer.

Would not have believed anybody if they told me prior to the game that our two best players last night would be DD and TJ but they were. They deserve a lot of credit for fighting and executing. Fighting hard is one thing but performing is another. They did both but nobody else did.

I thought Davaris would have a big game. He was huge in the Pitt game when our backs were against the wall. But I was hoping more players would have big games.

Been thinking all day on how well he played.

I watched a replay of the game this afternoon to make sure I talk intelligently on stuff and him and TJ both were great. Like really, really good. Maybe not at getting separation (although they did many times and Golson was late) but they made spectacular catches. Those two could be special next year if Golson advances on the mental side of the things and starts throwing with anticipation.

that is what I am most curious about. He came a long way over the year. But, what happens if Gunner catches up or passes him there since he played in a similar offense in school? I don't think ability is the quesiton on either of them, it's a race to know the reads inside and out IMO.
