Maybe its just a weekend that works for both of them and ND.......I think some of you are making this out to be more than it really is.

AQM may have to go to juco due to grades?

Hollins has a 3.9gpa

Both are awesome edge rushers

If staff feels we need another edge rusher or if we miss on EV ...we hit a home run with Deon IMHO.

Anybody else think it is going to be a little awkward when Hollins and Prevot visit on the same weekend?

Is it a possibility that the staff could take both, if they feel they may miss on Vanderdoes? Hollins is smaller, so could be a CAT, and Prevot could get beefed up a bit into a DE?

Hollins is bigger than Prevot by about 20 lbs. Both would play Cat for us.

Prevot is very thin. Wherever he goes, he'll be used as a situational pass rusher. The same if he were to come to ND he won't be able to set the edge on run plays for at least a couple of years.

I'd like to have Hollins but he's so short. Not many OLBs can be borderline 6' and be successful. Imagine him going against a guy like Mcglichey (forgive spelling). I'd take Terrodney.

i'm probably in the minority, but if it's me i'm pushing a lot harder for vanderdoes and if we don't get hollins or prevot no biggie...2014 is loaded with LB's were in it for and can use the momentum we have to springboard into next year.

I don't know how to start a thread or for that matter putting up those voting threads so i wanted to throw this out there and see if it stuck.Thought an interesting vote would be between hollins or prevot for the OLB/DE position. A lot of people seem to vary could be fun.

Prevot. Love both players but I think Prevot has a higher upside ... couple years with Longo and he'll be Ishaq, but maybe quicker.

Prevot just looks much lengthier.

Honestly I'd love either. Both have their upsides.

We all know who that spot really belongs to though. :sigh:

Fans love to make the exception the rule. And Hollins is not 6'2".

WHOS TROLLING? Prevot looks like a shooting guard. So your trying to tell me four major recruiting sites all have his height wrong?

Look at the video and you tell me. And a ton of recruits over-report their size. Anyone who's seen a recruits profile knows that.

I am not clogging up this thread anymore with this. If you want to talk about this you know how to send PM's.

I've stayed on point, there's no reason to go to PMs, at least from my end. The staff likes big OLBs and it's pretty clear Hollins is a bit under-sized. Sure, some short OLBs can be great players, but they're in the minority. I like Terrodney over Hollins.

So the university is paying him to visit for what? So Diaco can wake up and make him coffee and pancakes. They offered him a scholarship and have been recruiting him. I need to understand how 6'2 is undersized. Have you watched his film? His first step is ridiculous. Prevot might not even visit actually i'd be surprised if he did. Mods have already confirmed this plus rivals mods like Prevot but there not sure how big this kid can really get. Sure hes long and maybe has arms like Scottie Pippen. Staff is shaking the trees a little bit right now to see who falls. They wanted AQM didn't work out. So now there on to plan B Larue, Prevot if he comes to visit, Hollins, couple other guys. If Slaughter comes back there isn't any spots left to take. But there seems like there is a legit possbility of a transfer and than maybe a medical scholarship which i hope doesn't have to happen. II, 24 7 mods, ISD mods have all confirmed Notre Dame wants to add another pass rusher in this class and guess what Hollins can flat out rush the passer. 6'2 is considered short? Give me a break.

If you read the posts, it's obvious that the reason I like Terrodney over Hollins isn't because 6'2" is too short, it's because I think he's over-listed at 6'2" (aka, he's generously listed at 6'2"). You seriously need to relax, you're flirting with trolling.

I'm sorry but your wrong on this one.
James Harrison- 6'0"
Courtney Upshaw- 6'2"
Lavonte David- 6'1"
Sean Spence- 5'!1" !!!!!!

There are a lot more but I just wanted to list a few. All of these guys start for an NFL team and 3 of them are rookies. Sean Spence would've started but he had a season ending injury in the pre season

He is not even close to trolling. He is representing one point of view with examples, and you are presenting your opinion. Relax with the troll 'dubbing', especially on posters who don't deserve it in the least.
