Poor Golson. He wasn't allowed to practice with the basket ball team last year when he was an EE. But, Arik is a big and the team needs him now lol.

I respect all of the men of Notre Dame, but let's be honest...Arik Armstead is about 10x the athlete guys like Cooley will ever be.

Also said that, like Kiel, he likes the way he fits in with ND players and students. Biggest competition is Cal and SC.

I am 50% sure Chip Kelly is down for an in-home visit right now with Arik. I don't know if SC is still in the game here... if not, this is a Cal, ND, Oregon battle and I think ND might just win out....

the one thing ND has over Cal and Oregon is Big East basketball. Thankfully hell probably decide before we start our season in league so he wont be able to tell how bad we are this year.

He really seems to love basketball. Brey was there today I believe. I bet he is selling that we don't have any good big men besides Cooley who still isn't even that good andyou will play the best conference in basketball.

Sadly, I think SC is still in it, or at least they've been trying to be. Perhaps NDinLA could shine some more light on the situation there.

He wasn't selling anything, since he is not allowed to talk to recruits now. he was there, but mostly talking to basketball coach and advisors at the school I believe.

Edit: actually im not sure about that now, but I am nearly positive it is a dead period for basketball recruiting.

Absolutely. In fact, gun to my head, I would pick ND to land him. I put our chances somewhere south of 50%.

As to Beau, I've heard SC is out from multiple people... but then I also hear about them still recruiting him... so yeah, I don't know what to think.

This is exactly where I am. lol I thought they were out due to the situation with his brother, but then I hear about them visiting him and talking to him.
