You could tell as soon as he got up it was bothering him. If he is going to be out that long probably a broken collarbone.

I like Daniels alot. But We still have Chris Brown for a speedster and John Goodman for his his hands.

Chris Brown is blazing fast but he has practically ran one route for us all year and JG is solid but Daniels beat him out as a RS freshman. It might not be a huge dropoff but there is definitely one.

Both are huge steps down at this point.

I don't know about that. Goodman so far Has caught everything thrown at him. And Chris should get some time next week just burning the secondary. Plus TJ have a great year will help too.

Just got a notice on my phone, that Kelly says that Daniels had surgery on his clavicle, and should be back for whatever bowl game ND ends up in. Haven't seen an actual article, online, to cite....

Sucks for Daniels. IMHO he has been the most improved player offensively aside from Golson in the last four to five weeks. Golic has been playing at a much higher level also.

This is a good chance for Chris Brown to step up and make some plays. I'm sure they will find a way to get him on the field more despite not playing the same position as DD. This is also a great chance for Goodman to have his ND swan song.

Goodman is slow and doesn't have a lot of playing time this year, and Chris Brown runs one route. Daniels is tall, has good hands, runs nice routes, and can catch the deep pass. None of our current receivers can come close to replacing him.

Some of that i agree with but i am trying to be positive that we have some back ups that can't replace him but can fill in very nicely.

Tell me you're not interested in seeing who can step up and play. If it's Chris, we should start seeing him run more than one route and he may surprise you. If it's Goody, then he may surprise you. He's been making big plays for us this year.

Well, let's not take away from what Johnny-Be-Good actually has. He's a 4.5 forty, so he's not "slow". We can object to other elements of his game [consistency in running routes which get him open, etc] but the guy's an athlete.

40 time isn't exactly football speed. Mike Hart was a great RB for Michigan for 4 years and he had an awful 40 time. Goodman just plays slow.

Yes, it hurts that Daniels is out. But is he our best receiver? No. Give Goodman some respect. he catches what is thrown his way and you can't take that away from him.

We still have TJ, Tyler, and a very, very reliable Robby Toma. Don't forget about Niklas either

He might be our best receiver. He's very close to TJ and I think he's the most talented receiver on the roster.

I do think Daniels has a higher ceiling and has more potential and ability than TJ but as of today, I think TJ is more polished and runs cleaner routes. TJ has 9 more receptions, 47 more yards, and has 3 more touchdowns (3-0) than Daniels.

Daniels is a good receiver, I think he will be our next 1,000 yard receiver but TJ is better than him at this point
