Do we have any indication on how many players were sick? I agree, Manti looked a bit under the weather. Nix was clearly stated as battling flu symptoms.
Farley has surgery Tuesday on his hand, a lot of metal involved. Then back at practice next day after being put under for the operation. They showed the cast a few times during the game, I thought it was a factor on a couple of plays like the Graham TD where he missed a tackle. I didn't hear any mention of flu though.
Tough kid, reps to Farley.

How is that? Notre Dame playing a 4-4 Pitt team got more than primetime OSU?
Gentlemen, We HURT teams we play with this bunch. Who knows how many guys are walking wounded after our bashers ran into them for four+ quarters. "Back-in-the-day" ND used to do this to teams all the time.

Could be, but Pitt's just not that good. They've lose to Youngstown State, Syracuse, and got smoked by Cincinnati.
